Substack feels like a way for me to try get back to when blogs were active and the internet felt useful. Here I'll waffle about this for a while and ask you to subscribe to future waffle. Thanks.
Like you, I have a radio show and because of this I found myself with accounts for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Nothing happens from the latter two, but it is a little saddening how much influence Instagram has. I constantly delete the apps off my phone when I have no show to promote because it really does affect my mental health.
This has been really refreshing to read and it has reminded me of My Space where musicians I followed would also recommend books, films etc.
This is much more like a human interaction. Nice one Decy.
Yeah, been thinking a lot lately about how we didn't know how good we had it with MySpace, part of it was probably because there was less of an internet based language too, but things since definitely felt more like a step backwards.
I saw 75 Dollar Bill in Budapest last year on a whim and they were absolutely great. Missing them when they're here unfortunately but I'd love to see them again. Also more substack, less everything else!
Thanks Decy

That Snake ‘Demo 23’ is utterly joyous.
The endless scroll can be pretty grim alright.

Looking forward to seeing them in Dublin in September, I'd imagine they'll be even better live
